A professional workshop organized by our Association of LSP Teachers at Higher Education Institutions was held on Friday, February 6, 2026 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Zagreb and focused on the scientific and professional work of teachers of languages for specific purposes.
The workshop was opened with a welcome address by the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, Prof. Dr. Sc. Zdenko Tonković.
The programme included the General Assembly, introductory presentations on the conference proceedings, and an invited lecture by Dr Ivana Matas Ivanković (Institute for the Croatian Language) entitled Between the Manuscript and Publication: The Many Faces of the Peer Review Process, which addressed key challenges and perspectives of the peer review process from both author and reviewer viewpoints.
The workshop concluded with an interactive World Café 
session led by Dr Tamara Sladoljev Agejev (EFZG), focusing on teachers of languages for specific purposes as authors of professional and academic papers.
The event provided a valuable platform for discussion, exchange of experience, and professional networking.
